Prof. Qian Xu, Jiangsu University, China
Dr. Qian Xu got his Ph.D from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), and worked as a Research Associate at HKUST, and a Visiting Scholar at University of Waterloo, Canada for one year, respectively. He currently works at the Institute for Energy Research, Jiangsu University (Zhenjiang, China). He does researches in Energy Engineering and Chemical Engineering, especially in fuel cells, redox flow batteries, multi-scale multiphase heat and mass transport, and computational modeling. In addition to 2 edited books, 1 book chapter and over 20 lectures at international and domestic conferences, he has published more than 70 papers in various prestigious journals. These papers have collectively received more than 1,500 citations and earned Dr. Xu an h-index of 22 (Google Scholar). In recognition of his research achievements, Dr. Xu has in recent years received several awards, examples include: 2016 “Six Talent Summit” Award (Jiangsu Province), 2014 Youth Key Faculty Members Award (Jiangsu University). He has received more than 10 research fundings, including those from NSFC, National Postdoc Fund of China, Department of Human Resources and Social Security of Jiangsu Province. Dr. Xu serves as Member of Editorial Board for Progress in Energy & Fuels, and is a reviewer of more than 20 international academic Journals and several Funding Agencies.
