Prof. Liang Wang, Tiangong University, China

Prof. Liang Wang received his Ph.D. degree in Environmental Engineering from Tianjin University in 2006 and has been working in Tiangong University since then. He worked as an advanced visiting scholar in Georgia Tech in 2014. He now holds the position of deputy director of State Key Laboratory of Separation Membranes and Membrane Processes, deputy director of Analytical & Testing Center of Tiangong University. Over the years, he has devoted himself to the research and applications of Membrane technologies for water and wastewater treatment. He has published more than 40 SCI papers in Appl Catal B-Environ, J Mater Chem A, J Membrane Sci, etc. One of them was ESI highly cited paper. He is the PI of 3 projects sponsored by National Natural Science Foundation of China, 4 provincial research projects, as well as 5 sub-projects sponsored by including National Key Research and Development Project, National Water Pollution Control and Treatment Science and Technology, National Science and Technology Support Program. He won the provincial and ministerial level scientific and technological progress awards for 3 times including 2 first prizes and 1 second prize and 1 bureau-level scientific and technological progress (first prize). He has participated in the compilation of 3 books, 1 Guidelines of the Ministry of Environmental Protection, and 1 Guidelines of Ministry of Construction. He   is now selected as the Young and Middle-aged Scientists of Tianjin for the Innovation Leadership Program in Sciences and Technologies, First-level candidate of Tianjin “131” Innovative Talents Program, the head of Tianjin high-level innovation team, and the Leading Talent for Academic Discipline of universities in Tianjin.
