Prof. Yong Han, Sun Yat-Sen University, China

Prof. Yong Han, male, Ph. D., and Doctoral Supervisor. He was born in June 1975. His Ph.D was obtained from Hefei Institute of Physical Science, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), and studied as post-doctoral at the Institute of Atmospheric Physics of the CAS. His undergraduate and master's degrees were obtained at Hefei University of Technology and Anhui Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics, CAS, respectively. He studied for one year at the University of Science and Technology of China and at the National Satellite Meteorological Centre during his postgraduate studies, respectively. He has worked at the Institute of Oceanography of the CAS and the School of Atmospheric Sciences of Nanjing University. He is currently as a professor at the School of Atmospheric Sciences of Sun Yat-sen University. He has been as a visiting scholar at the State University of New York, the Imperial College London, Marine and Atmospheric Research of CSIRO in Australia. He mainly teaches undergraduate compulsory course "Atmospheric Measurements", and graduate compulsory courses "Earth Observations from Space", and "Radar and Satellite". His research interests are Atmospheric Measurements and Remote Sensing, including physical atmospheric detection, atmospheric ocean optics, and scientific instruments for remote sensing, etc.
