Prof. Nava Raj Karki, Tribhuvan University, Nepal

I have working at the Institute of Engineering, Tribhuvan University since 1995. I obtained my PhD from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay and was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Saskatchewan, Canada. I was a visiting researcher at the Lulea University of Technology (Sweden), Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV), University of Saskatchewan and was a visiting academic faculty at the University of Porto (UP), University of Algarve (UAlg) and University of Nova Lisboa (UNL). My research area are power system reliability and planning, power system restructuring and distributed generation. I have published about 50 papers in peer reviewed journals and conferences, and serving as an Associate Editor of International Journal of System Assurance Engineering and Management since 2016. I have served as General Co-Chair of IEEE ICCA in 2016 in Kathmandu, Nepal and am a Steering Committee Member of International Conference on power System (ICPS) that was first held in Kathmandu, Nepal in 2004.
